About the role:
The Scientific Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of marketing initiatives that enhance Sygnature Discovery’s brand visibility, digital presence, and audience engagement, with specific focus on the Company’s standalone, discipline-focused capabilities.
Reporting into the Discovery Services group, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute across a variety of channels and content formats. The successful candidate will support content creation, campaign coordination, event planning, and social media engagement, helping to drive forward Sygnature’s growth objectives in the global drug discovery market.
This role is ideal for a science graduate, looking to take their first step into a commercial role and develop their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Please note that this role is based at our Nottingham site with a requirement to be onsite at least 3 days a week.
Role Responsibilities:
Content Coordination and Creation:
Support the creation of engaging, on-brand content across multiple formats including case studies, infographics, video, and webinars.
Assist in the refinement and formatting of scientific posters and technical marketing materials, ensuring clarity and alignment with brand tone.
Coordinate the development of digital and print assets, including event booths and promotional collateral.
Digital and Social Media Support:
Contribute to the growth of Sygnature’s digital presence through social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), helping to plan and deliver content that highlights key capabilities and drive engagement.
Website and CRM Management:
Assist with data management and segmentation in the Marketing Automation Platform/CRM (HubSpot), contributing to audience targeting and reporting.
Event and Campaign Support:
Assist with the coordination of internal and external events (virtual and in-person), including logistics, branded merchandise, and delegate engagement strategies.
Take ownership of smaller marketing initiatives or projects from planning through to execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in a Life Sciences subject (preferable biology-focused).
Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
Comfortable working with scientific content and translating it into accessible content.
Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Enthusiastic and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
