About the role:
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Nottingham team as a Revenue & Accounts Receivable Supervisor on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a hybrid position with an expectation to be onsite at least 3 days a week and to be onsite full-time initially for training.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end sales ledger process, including the accurate and timely production of invoices and credit notes.
- Supervise a team of four, including two remotely based colleagues in Canada and Glasgow.
- Manage and resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Act as the point of escalation for sales ledger matters raised by Business Development, Contracts, and Project Management teams.
- Perform and review revenue reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and present revenue reports to the Chief Financial Officer and leadership team.
- Complete outsourced (intercompany and external) revenue reconciliations.
- Ensure month-end deadlines are met, providing support to keep the team on track.
- Assist with other ad hoc sales ledger duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- AAT / CIMA / ACCA / ACA part qualified is preferred.
- NetSuite or similar ERP system experience desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Previous experience in revenue recognition.
- Excellent numerical skills with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
- High organised, with a methodical and structured approach to work.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to manage shifting priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
