About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our People Team as a Senior HR Advisor based at our Alderley Park office. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in the office three days per week.
Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, the Senior HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in providing both strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. You will work closely with managers to drive performance, employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, who can contribute to the broader People Team by understanding company strategy, key priorities, and business challenges, and aligning these with the people strategy and team objectives.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead resolution of ER matters including mediation and formal casework and use data to proactively advice managers.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and co-create HR solutions
- Support in the design of operating models, systems and structures for departments.
- Coach managers to address organisational challenges and promote effective team behaviours.
- Partner with the Talent team to align recruitment, succession, and development activities to business needs.
- Support departmental succession and workforce planning.
- Facilitates leadership development and performance management programmes.
- Apply HR policy and employment law to a wide range of cases.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above (or suitable equivalent).
- Significant experience in an HR advisory or generalist role.
- Understands company reward structures and applies benchmarking.
- Experience in handling a wide range of employee relations matters.
- Proven ability to contribute to and implement HR initiatives and projects.
- Experience working across multiple departments or functions.
- Demonstrated ability to use data for insight and reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficient in using HR systems and interpreting HR data.
- Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
